Program list

The goal of this program is to improve the life of people infected and affected by HIV and AIDS. Centre for Positive care offers this program in Partnership with the Department of Health. The Program can be accessed in all facilities under the Vhembe District.

 

 Voluntary Counselling and Testing, Prevention of Mother to Child transmission, Couple Counselling, Adherence is the activities rendered by Lay Counsellors in all the facilities on daily basis. The Lay Counsellors also provide on-going Counselling to all that are in need. They also assist in the formation of Support Groups wherein members meet and share their experiences.  In order for the program to run smoothly, Mentors had been appointed. The Mentors are responsible for offering support in all Lay Counsellors.

Youth Program

Youth program is the program that aims to educating young people on Adolescent Reproductive Health issues as well as supporting Community Based Youth projects in the Vhembe District of the Limpopo Province of South Africa. Youth Program was founded in 1999 under the Prevention program of the Centre for Positive Care.

Orphaned and vulnerable Children 

To provide basic services to all orphaned and vulnerable children in a sustainable manner and to create an enabling environment to improve the equality of our children in a vhembe District
